Setting up a Google account


You need a Google account to run pay-per-click.  If you have one it could be prudent to set up a separate one.

Here’s how we recommend you do it.

The standard Google method can be ambiguous but the easiest way is through gmail – Google’s email service:
Go to www.gmail.com and press the Create an Account button (bottom right of the screen) and follow the instructions.

Also: you’ll find
1.    That you’re given a chosenname@googlemail.co.uk address.  This is for UK legal reasons and your address will work just as well as chosenname@gmail.com and
2.     When logging in you’ll only need the chosenname part of it
3.    You can use your account for all Google’s services
